Microsoft in Cooperation with MSN Arabia and NISSAN Motor Egypt Announce ‘Messenger on the Go’ Online Competition
 

 

Microsoft, founded in 1975, Microsoft (Nasdaq "MSFT") is the worldwide leader in software, services, and solutions that help people and businesses realize their full potential and MSN Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s premier bilingual entertainment and information portal along with Nissan Motor Egypt announced the launch of ‘Messenger on the Go’, a nine week interactive online competition for all Windows Live users, including Hotmail and MSN account holders.

Messenger on the GO offers a series of activities on a dedicated competition page, where participants sign in using their Hotmail account.

Participants will be shown a three dimensional virtual Nissan Tiida car which they must fill with as many friends as possible in order to win a real customized 2010 sedan Nissan Tiida Messenger Edition. The winner will be the person with the highest number of friends inside the virtual Car.

Users will be linked to the competition through online banners, newsletters to Windows Live users and on the MSN Arabia website. Users will find easy-access invitation tools to send invitations to their friends on Windows Live accounts on Facebook, Twitter and other social networks.

An online counter will show the user and the number of friends in his or her car, and the top ten riders will be listed on the homepage of the competition where their user names and the number of friends in their car will be displayed instantly.

The competition page will also include a section exhibiting the Nissan Tiida’s wide array of features in a comprehensive factsheet as well as an educational section providing information about Windows Live products new products and features, including MSN and Hotmail. A list of all the competition’s rules, and regulations as well as a countdown timer will be included on the competition’s home page.
